Soly is an iOS photo editor made for creators, focused on artistic irregular cropping and premium texture-rich filters. When we built Soly, we designed it from the ground up to protect your privacy first. You never need to create an account, log in, or share any personal information to create with Soly — that’s our core promise.
This privacy policy explains our simple, straightforward approach to your data in plain language, no confusing jargon included.
What Information Do We Collect?
The short answer: We don’t collect any of your personal information, and we never see your photos. Here’s the full breakdown:
- • No personal identifiable information: We don’t collect your name, email, location, phone number, or any information that can be tied back to you. We don’t even have servers to store this information.
- • Your photos never leave your device: All of your original photos, edited crops, and filtered works live only on your iPhone or iPad. We never upload, access, or store your photos on any external servers. Our team can never see your work unless you explicitly choose to send it to us for feedback.
- • Permissions only work for you: Soly only asks for photo library permission to let you import existing photos and save your finished edits. We never use this permission to access or copy any of your content off your device.
Third Party Services
Soly uses Apple’s standard App Store services for things like optional in-app purchases for extra filter packs. All payment and purchase data is handled directly by Apple, following their own privacy rules. We never see or store your credit card information or Apple ID details.
If we add any new third party tools to Soly in the future, we will only choose services that match our privacy standards, and we will update this policy to keep you informed.
Your Full Control
You are always in full control of your data when using Soly:
- • You can turn photo library permissions on or off any time in your iOS device settings
- • If you delete Soly from your device, all of your Soly-related data is deleted permanently from your device immediately — no leftover data stays with us
- • We never sell, rent, or share any information (that we don’t have) with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes

As we add new filters, cropping templates, and features to Soly, we may update this privacy policy occasionally to match our current practices. Any changes will be clearly posted in the App Store update log and on this page, so you can always stay up to date.
